A common chemical used in plastics may be linked to heart disease, diabetes, and liver damage...

The safety of bisphenol A (BPA) continues to makes headlines. Now, I'm not an alarmist, but all of the recent news regarding the health effects of BPA made me want to learn more. 

Here's a fact: BPA is a common chemical used in many of our plastics, canned goods and soft drinks, even our sunglasses and compact discs.

And, depending on who you ask, the FDA or the independent researchers of the world, BPA is either harmless or as mentioned in this article, high levels of BPA in humans can be linked to heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and liver damage.

Who should American consumers believe??
