A heart attack, if not fatal, can still lead to serious complications that result in disability. When you are no longer able to work due to your health, you may be eligible to receive Social Security disability benefits.
According to a report from US Health News, blood pressure doesn't appear to play a role in heart attacks that occur in the morning. A new study shows that blood pressure tends to be at its lowest in the morning, therefore, is not likely to be connected to an increased risk of stroke or heart attack in the early hours of the day.
This is a surprising finding since past studies have shown that there is a greater chance of suffering a heart attack or stroke in the morning. But after analyzing 28 patients in a sleep/wake cycle experiment, there was no connection found between high blood pressure and morning heart attacks.
This new study was published in the April 7 issue of the journal Circulation.
