Driver Killed Along Interstate

Rodolfo Garmendia was killed in a hit and run accident in Miami, Floida along the Dolphin Expressway, police report. Investigators know who the other party was in this hit and run accident, but are still searching for him.

The accident occurred as Garmendia was standing next to his parked BMW M5 along the side of the highway. Florida Highway Patrol authorities belive that he was attempting to get something from his trunk when he was hit by the Ford F-350 pickup truck of 69-year-old Charles Bible of Doral, Florida. The impact sent Garmendia flying 25 feet from his vehicle killing him. Whitnesses to the accident phoned 911 with a discription of the vehicle and police were able to locate the abondoned truck later that evening.
