FITCO has developed a new foundation to supply disabled veterans with more options to help their physical recovery, health, and well-being.
The FITCO Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 2011, has partnered with Chris Kyle, a veteran Navy Seal, to create the
Heroes Project. The program provides free in-home fitness equipment, health club memberships, personal trainer support, and life-coaching for disabled veterans in need of health care.
The Heroes Project is the foundation’s first primary objective to provide a helping hand for disabled veterans to get the physical care they need to help with their disabilities and increase their personal health. For veterans who are unable to travel to local fitness centers, in-home equipment and personal training sessions are
helping them regain mobility and improve strength.
The Heroes Project benefits disabled veterans across the nation, as well as their families, and veterans who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Gold Star families may also be eligible for assistance from the program.
FITCO is funding most of the initiative, but also relies on donations to support its efforts.
If you are a disabled veteran who has been denied disability compensation or have not yet applied for benefits from the VA, a South Florida disability attorney from LaVan & Neidenberg is ready to help. To learn if you are entitled to certain programs and benefits
