More Than 200,000 Suffer Cardiac Arrest Annually in U.S.

In a report from Medline Plus, every year in the U.S. more than 200,000 people suffer cardiac arrest in a hospital. Some of the ways this can be done include improved patient monitoring, following resuscitation guidelines and administering both CPR and defibrillation.
