Prescription Drug Consumers Be Aware of Illegal Online Pharmacies

The Doctor's Lounge reports that prescription drug consumers need to be aware of illegal online pharmacies that will scam you for your money. This may leave you still in agony of your health condition, which may make you eligible for Long-term disability benefits.

A new report indicates that some websites are inadvertently directing online users looking for necessary prescription drugs to illegal pharmacies. While email spamming was one attempt at taking money from consumers' wallets, a new way to reach into your pocket has emerged by infecting websites so that customers are redirected to illegal pharmacies.

Cyber-security experts from Carnegie Mellon University found that in their drug-related web searches, the top 10 search results produced redirection to an illegal pharmacy 25% of the time.

Consumers need to be aware of where they are buying their medicine from and vigilant in making sure they have not been redirected to a pharmacy that is out to scam prescription drug consumers.
