Reducing the Risk of Head and Neck Cancers

Add another unexpected health benefit of java to the list; a new study has revealed that coffee may protect against certain types of cancer. Drinking coffee could reduce the risk of head and neck cancers, such as oral cavity and pharynx cancers.

The American Association for Cancer Research has published a study that those who drank 4 or more cups of coffee per day, in comparison to non-coffee drinkers, had a 39% reduced risk of developing these cancers.
