Resource Guide for Disabled Athletes and Family Members in Florida

The Paralympics, Special Olympics and local programs such as Achievers of America give everybody, disabled or not, a chance to participate in an athletic program.  From recreational athletes to serious professionals use the links listed to find a program that is right for you.

The Achievers of America is a grassroots organization that encourages anyone to come out and play softball or bowl once a week.  Based in Florida, the group works to build self-esteem and team work, all the while fostering positive relationships between the participants- some with disabilities and some without.

The following links are intended to help you become involved as a volunteer or an athlete.  With opportunities to get active and build self-confidence, why not become a part of these amazing groups?
