The Fight to Reduce Coronary Heart Disease and Stroke

• controlled cholesterol;
• healthier diet;
• controlled blood pressure;
• healthy body mass index (BMI);
• reduced blood sugar; and
• not smoking. 

These initiatives could reduce the chance of suffering a heart attack, the leading cause of death in the U.S. and stroke, the 3^rd leading cause of death.
