Two Killed in Head on Collision

Madelyn Gager, 29, and Melissa Cremasco, 30 were killed Sunday morning when their 2007 Dodge drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed into the car of Peter Bernat, 49.

The accident occurred in the center lane of San Carlos Blvd near Cinnamon Cove Blvd in Fort Myers, Florida, just before 1 a.m. Bernat, who suffered serious injuries, had moved into the center turning lane in preperation for making a left hand turn. Sources report that Gager, who has survived head-on collisions in the past, was pronounced dead at Lee Memorial Hopsital. Both Gager and Cremasco were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
