Two Women Killed in SUV Accident

Two women were killed in an automobile crash along State Road 415 near Lake Ashby the Florida Highway Patrol are reporting.

Jade A. Collesano, 28, of DeBary, Florida narrowly avoided colliding with the sport utility vehicle of Meghan C. Thompson, 23, when she left her lane and drifted into the adjacent lanes along the highway. Investigators don't know what caused the accident but both vehicles caught fire after the collision. Both vehicles drifted across lanes of traffic after crashing into one another. The accident remains under investigation as state troopers try to find more information about what led up to the crash.
