Vets4Warriors Support Program Announces Nationwide Availability

Vets4Warriors has been a very successful “outreach and support initiative” providing “peer-to-peer counseling” to U.S. veterans, out of the state of New Jersey, and is now going to be available nationwide. The program will be available to every Reservist and member of the National Guard, according to an article on NJ Today.

The Vets4Warriors takes a unique and unparalleled approach toward treating veterans through their help line. Probably the most important aspect of the program is that the support will be supplied by other trained U.S. veterans. The program will offer help to veterans with multiple issues, such as mental health problems and everyday lifetime problems.

The Vets4Warriors program seeks to intervene into veterans’ lives before their problems reach “crisis levels.” In an ideal situation, the program will serve to lower the occurrences of veteran suicides. Such peer-to-peer counseling programs have proven to be “exceptionally effective” because of the compassion shared between veterans.

The Vets4Warriors program is dedicated to staying with the individual veterans until their issues are resolved. The program offers direct and thorough counseling to prevent any further growth of mental health problems among the veteran population.
