September 16, 2010 - The Wounded Warrior Project is helping soldiers who have been wounded in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Web Advocate is an online interactive tool, which allows injured service members to access information about various VA benefits and compensation to which they are entitled due to their injuries.
Web Advocate will be offered in addition to the benefits counselors the Wounded Warrior Project retains on staff. The counselors help those injured service members navigate the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) disability compensation claims process.
Web Advocate will operate all day, every day. When wounded warriors visit the site, they will search for their injury. Once they locate their injury, they will be given immediate results as to their disability rating on the VA chart, how much compensation they will likely receive from the VA for their injury, and a list of other ancillary benefits.
The Wounded Warrior Project serves to "honor and empower wounded warriors." The VA's disability compensation claims process is overwhelming for those attempting to maneuver through it. The Web Advocate is designed to give the wounded warriors the information they need to educate themselves as to their particular earned benefits.
Once injured soldiers are aware of the benefits they may be entitled to receive, they can then work with an experienced Veterans Disability attorney who can assist them through every aspect of the claims process.
Soldiers can return home with a number of conditions, injuries, and aggravated preexisting conditions. If you believe you have a service-connected physical or psychological injury you may be entitled to Veterans’ Disability Compensation.
At LaVan and Neidenberg, we are determined to secure veterans their rightful disability compensation and disability rating. We wrote this book for you! In it you will find valuable tips on how to navigate the claims process and avoid common pitfalls. Request your FREE copy today!
