My Social Security Disability claim received a fully favorable decision. However, because my condition is expected to improve, I was told that my case would be reevaluated in a year's time.Should I be concerned?
A:
Every fully favorable Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits (DIB) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) case will be reevaluated in the following fashion:
If medical improvement is expected:
A review will or may be conducted in a year's time
If medical improvement is possible:
A review will or may be conducted in three years time
If medical improvement is not expected:
A review will or may be conducted in seven years time
