Sadly, because of time constraints and overbooking, many doctors do not give their patients their full attention or consideration. If you feel your doctor is not willing to help you with your disability claim or that his/her opinions on your disability are warped, you should definitely consider finding another doctor. Often times, you will need your treating physician(s) to complete forms for your disability claim which means your doctor(s) must be willing to devote the time necessary to do so accurately.
Once you have found a supportive doctor stick with them. This will help you build a consistent and compelling record of medical treatment.
