STATEMENT OF THE CASE
Appellant, (the veteran), appeals a March 31, 2008 decision of the Board of Veterans Appeals ("BVA" or "Board") that denied the veteran's claim for entitlement to service connection for stomach disorder; denied the veteran's claim for entitlement to a rating in excess of 10 percent for metatarsalgia of the right foot; denied the claim for service connection for bilateral foot and leg disorders other than metatarsalgia of the right foot; and that stated that the retroactive payment of disability compensation benefits for service-connected low back disability was calculated correctly.
STATEMENT OF FACTS
In-Service History:
According to the veteran's DD214 Form and according to the BVA Decision, the veteran served on active duty from February 18, 1980 to June 27, 1980. (Record (R.)p. 2 of BVA Decision; R.1124, R1074). On June 27, 1980 the veteran was relieved from active duty and returned to the 275th Supply Company, Fort Pickett US Army Reserve Center, Fort Pickett, Virginia (R. 1078).
