Residual Disability

Same as partial disability, a residual disability provision may be part of the policy or a rider attached to the contract that provides a reduced basic monthly benefit if you are not totally disabled. Residual disability may include such things as: working fewer hours than normal but performing all of the tasks of your occupation, or working full time but unable to do all of the normal duties required of your occupation.
