


Anxiety disorder is a general term that encompasses many different forms of abnormal, pathological anxieties, fears, and phobias.
Clinically, "fear", "anxiety" and "phobia" have different meanings, though often times the words are used interchangeably in casual conversation to describe ubiquitous emotions.
Anxiety is an unpleasant emotional state, the causes of which can be difficult to identify. In order to receive effective treatment and consequently, a better prognosis, it is important to distinguishing among different anxiety disorders. Surveys have shown that as many as 30% of Americans may be affected by anxiety disorders.
Anxiety disorders are frequently accompanied by physiological symptoms that may lead to fatigue or even exhaustion. Many times, clinical depression co-exists with an anxiety disorder.
