Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, more commonly called the VFW, is above all a service based organization. Community involvement is crucial to both their mission and the success of programs across the U.S. Each year VFW and Auxiliary members volunteer over 13 million hours. The programs are as diverse as the volunteers who run them. Together they work toward one goal- Honor the dead by helping the living. VFW programs and services include:
VFW Posts
The VFW Posts are designed with veterans in mind. They are a not only a gathering place for veterans and their families but they generate revenue for the many programs and services the VFW provides.
