Wounded Warrior Project

The Wounded Warrior Project is a dedicated non-profit that strives to help wounded veterans across the country. Their mission is to "honor and empower wounded warriors."

Across each page on their website are the words, "The greatest casualty is being forgotten." This statement is all too true and the Wounded Warrior Project works to provide help and advocacy for the nations growing number of disabled veterans. The Project does this by:
  • Raising awareness and enlisting the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women.
  • Helping severely injured service members aid and assist each other
  • Providing services to meet the needs of severely injured service members.

Some of the ways the Wounded Warrior Project helps injured soldiers and airmen are:
  • Buying backpacks for the wounded
  • Alleviating the financial burden on families
  • Sponsoring adaptive sports and recreation events
  • Helping give voice to the newest generation of veterans

The Project accepts both donations and ideas on how to better help America's injured service members. Please click on the following links to learn more about the Wounded Warrior Project:
