Seroquel: Secrets revealed about its side effects; diabetes and weight gain

Seroquel has been approved for treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, but the drug is widely prescribed for other health problems such as depression and insomnia. But there have been serious questions about potential side effects. AstraZeneca is facing more than 9,000 personal injury lawsuits filed by at least 15,000 patients. Forty percent of these cases have been consolidated in federal court in Orlando.

The lawyers for patients say that AstraZeneca knew for nearly a decade that Seroquel caused weight gain and diabetes.
